  • Conducts a monthly review of this local PTA’s bank statements/supporting documents and shall sign an acknowledgment on the bank statements that the expenditures were consistent with the approved budget
  • This position is included as part of the board of directors
  • Requires attendance at our monthly meetings

  • Coordinate with local grocers on their educational giving and communicate to school community- VIC CARD
  • Coordination with the VP Communication
  • Schedule dining out nights with local restaurants
  • Soliciting local businesses for one time donations as needs arise

The position involves communicating with feeder schools and neighborhood communications platforms to advertise the Open House. The Open House occurs in the fall. Membership
  • The membership committee collects the annual fee and membership form from parents, teachers, and students who choose to join the SMHS PTSA. The committee reconciles the fee submitted by the parent, teacher, or student with the data entered into the membership form to identify and correct any errors. The committee also creates a database/list of contact information of the current year's PTSA members to be used by the PTSA as needed.
